Maryland Public High School
Invitational Swimming Championship

Now that Swimming has become an Official High School Sport in the State of Maryland and because the MPSSAA will hold the First Maryland Public Secondary Schools State Championship Swim Meet (MPSSAA State Swimming Championships), the Maryland Public High School Invitational Swimming Championships will NOT be held in 2007.

Do you feel there is still a need for a swim meet like the Maryland Public High School Invitational Swimming Championships? If there is a need (based on the your responses) the meet would be moved to earlier in the season (maybe during Winter Break) or it would be held for swimmers that did not qualify for the MPSSAA State Swimming Championships. What do you think?
